Website: The Hillside Inn is well known in Crawley and across West Sussex as a fine country pub. A popular pub restaurant famous for great food, we are nestled in the market town of Crawley. There is always a warm welcome with roaring log fires, freshly prepared food, a great selection of real ales and a diverse wine menu for you to choose from.

Went for some lunch midweek and it had a good trade with diners and drinkers inside and out. Beer was ok but nothing to write home about. Staff were young, friendly and helpful. Food was dire: soggy pastry, soggy veg. Clearly microwave and pre-prepared dishes were there order of the day. Sadly it doesn't live up to the corporate blurb.
