This is a country pub well off any major road, it is on the border of Wiltshire and Somerset.The pub has two small rooms with a bar serving both of them.There is a conservertory at the end of the pub which is used as a dining room. The meals are very good,and are also very large.All cask beers are served stright from the barrell,even though there are three hand pumps on the bar.

We spent five days in East Woodlands and used the pub on each night.Coming from the north of England i had not been in a pub that sold beer stright from the cask,but we got used to it as the beers were in good condition,though i found it harder to get used to the prices £3-15p for Taylors Landlord. The staff were very pleasant and helpfull,and the locals were great company,however it was good to get back to our local, to a pint with a head on it and change from £1-50.
