Family run pub in an attractive village with up to 8 real ales and 3 real ciders on at any one time. Regular beer festivals throughout the year featuring up to 30 beers, mostly from micros. Regularly changing menu with plenty of home cooked choices.

Kicked off with a pint of Old Chestnut, a lovely deep ruby beer with lots of smoky maltiness. Then a pint of HSB slipped down a treat as always. Both beers were on top form and couldn't be faulted.
