The Kings Arms in my opinion is the best place to go if you are looking for a decent pint. They have 4 ale pumps, 2 always seem to be Hawkshead beers.
There is the main bar room which has a real fire and to one side is a large restaurant area for diners. The Kings also seems to open the latest out of the pubs in Hawkshead.
