First Class real ale pub- unbeatable. Any beer lover with delight at their 14 hand pull beer pumps which change beers reguarly from a large range of microbreweries. The Malt Shovel Tavern is the \"Brewery Tap\" (main outlet) for beers from the Great Oakley Micro-Brewery. Also on draught is a selection of wheat beers & lagers, in bottles a large array of quality continental beers & fruit wines. Hot Pasties serve as bar snacks & the pub has a reputation for live blues music.
