This is a pub i like to visit when i am in Stalybridge The pub only sells one cask beer which is Lees of Middleton, always in great condition. The pub gets very busy at weekend and is far to noisy for me. Food is sold seven days a week,and there is a functions room for hire. The pub is open all day seven days a week until midnight Sunday to Thursday and till two am Friday and Saturday.

Once again a great pint of Lees bitter,it never seems to vary.The pub is now run by a manager who was the tenant but he said he was finding it hard to make the pub viable for the amount of hours he and his family were working,so the brewery offered him the chance to stay as the manager.I hope he stays as it is the only Lees pub in the area, and i would miss his well kept beer and his friendly personalty.
