The Mount Hotel is a large pub on the esplanade ,built in 1896 at a cost of £5000 it had twenty five bedrooms which are now flats, leaving the ground floor as a pub.In its hay days it was a very busy pub owned by Boddintons.Now in a pub group it does not have the same pull of drinkers as it did.There is a games room with both pool and darts,a family room with tv and childrens game machines.The beers change quite often as some of the regular drinkers are not very keen on the presant day boddingtons.The pub serves food seven days a week from 12.00-7.45,and cater for weddings and other parties.Opening times sun-thurs12.00-1100 and fri-sat12.00-12.00.

Our second pub of the evening,there were three beers on the bar,i had Everards tiger which was good,and then bombrdier.The barman said that they were getting Youngs at the weekend so we shall pay another visit then.

Called in after going to see the firemen damping down the remains of Fleetwood Pier which had caught fire during the night.I had a very nice pint of Bombardier a brew that i quite like.The pub was not very but the rain does not help.
