Formerly the Golden Lion in the centre of town, this large open plan pub has been transformed with the introduction of Cask ales by Andy. Their website says "Andy & Nicky would like to welcome you to The Nags Head. A no frills pub offering something for all ages at value prices but maintaining quality products" With a decent selection of ever changing cask beers selling at £1.65 a pint (Aug 2011)its hard to argue with that!

Held a Beer and sausage festival from Thurs to Monday over bank holiday weekend. A fantastic range of 33 casks on an outside stillage on top of the 4 handpumps inside the pub.
