Small shabby local inhabited by small shabby locals. Possibly one of the friendliest pubs in the South of England with lots of community activities from shooting to pigeon racing to hosting the annual 2CV meetings. It's very much a country pub and has little in the way of sophistication. Hurrah! The beers are ok generally but you go to The Plough for the company. Well worth a visit.
