The Queens Arms is a traditional back street community pub, just a short walk from Brixham harbour and quays. It has the atmosphere of old English taverns of long ago, an embracing cosiness, a welcome the moment you walk through the door, and a friendly pub cat called Mondy.
With a passion for traditional cask ale, the Queens is an award winning, CAMRA accredited “real ale” pub. Six hand pumps serve a selection of regularly rotating real ales, mostly from independent British microbreweries. There is always a beer available from the local Hunters Brewery, plus a discount mystery ale. Real cider and good quality ciders, lagers and stouts also available.
Weekday activities include a monthly Monday Supper Club, Tuesday night Darts, Wednesday night Euchre (a trick-taking card game for 4), Friday Meat Draw, occasional Pig Racing and other irregular events. Saturday is Live Music night featuring the best bands and solo artists from Torbay and beyond, from rock to country styles and easy listening.
