Home of "Lion's Tale" micro brewery. Superb ales - 'Blooming Blonde' a Golden Ale (4.1), 'Lion Bru' their standard bitter (4), 'Chesbrewnette' a delightful dark ale (4.5) similar to porter, plus Marstons' Burton Ale and lagers for those of non-adventurous taste!

Yippee!! No telly or canned musac!!!
Only pork pies, crisps, nuts etc as far as food concerned.
People come here to drink the great ales and TALK (I know it's a dying art!!), play dominoes OR, on the 2nd Tuesday in month, join the 'craic' with the "Fiddlers h'Eireann" for an Irish Instrumental Session from 9pm
