This is a bar as good as the buffet bar at Stalybridge.There is a full restaurant upstairs and a bar full of cask beers many that i had not seen before. The pub holds beer festiveals and music festivals, and is very busy with locals,walkers and a venue on the Real Ale Trail.

Another pub on the Ale Trail and has to be the best.Eleven cask beers three from Ossett seven brewed on the premises and London Pride.We only had time to try two of the brews before the train left for Greenfield,both were in tip top condition and we will be returning for a full day as there are other cask beer pubs in the village for us to visit.
