This pub was built in the seventeenth century and is owned by Robinsons Brewery of Stockport.The pub is residential and has a restaurant. The public side consists of four rooms with a bar which serves two of them.There is always four cask beers on sale, but no guest beers as it is a tied house,but there is plenty of choice as they brew many beers some under the Hartleys name .
