A village local and former Norfolk and Norwich and Norfolk Pub of the Year. Listed in the good beer guide for the past 11 years. The Royal Oak boasts 15 handpumps for ale and 2 handpumps dedicated to real cider. Currently there is Westons Country Perry and Westons Winter Spice on hand pump and Westons 1st Quality and Thatchers Cheddar Valley on gravity. Real ales are Dark Star Hophead, Fullers Front Row, Hydes Amazing Grace, Cottage H.S.T. Saltaire Cheeky Kriek, Woodfordes Once Bittern, Dark Star A.P.A. Adnams Bitter, Woodfordes Wherry and Fullers London Pride.
The Royal Oak has a large car park, beer garden, heated smoking shelter and outside seating area for coffee. Darts on Mon,Wed,Fri and a fun Quiz Sunday Evening ensure that something is happening all the time.
