This is a large pub that is better known for its food than its ale and is not somewhere you would really go to for a few drinks. They have a good menu and the portion sizes are big. They serve 2 regular ales and sometimes have a guest beer. The pub is very nice inside.

My local pub & visit regularly. I'm a CAMRA member. Real ales not kept very well here. They often taste bad or watery and have to take them back to ask to swap to alternative. If you risk trying them, make sure it tastes and looks OK or take it back!
