A early evening visit to the Steamer to see what guest beers were on the bar.I had a pint of Nimmos xxxx which i enjoyed, and then tried the Rasberry ale from Caledonian which was excellent.

Called in the steamer for our friday lunch and to meet some friends. Three new beers on so i tried a pint of St Austell and could not fault it. The standard of the cask beers in this pub are a credit to the Landlord and his staff.

The pub is back to six beers,which is good to see .I ,tried the Old Mill and then went to Youngs which is a very nice pint.We seem to see more of Youngs in our area now maybe its because they are involved with Wells brewery as Bombardier seems to be on the list of most pub groups.

Started our sunday evening at the steamer. The pub was very quiet and down to one guest beer.The pub seems to have lost it way,maybe the,present financial climate is causing problems. I hope it can recover,as it is the last pub left were you had a good choice of cask beers in Fleetwood besides the dreded WETHERSPOONS, it sure looks bleak.

The pub was not very busy tonight,but had a busy lunchtime.Three new guest beers on i had the Ugly Sisters from Marsdons a top class beer.

Called at the Steamer to meet friends and have a sandwich along with a pint. I had a pint of Wells Bombardier, and then the guest beer which was Deuchers IPA, both were on form,

Two new guest beers that i have never had before on today both ingood, condition .Green King Bonkers Conkers and Caledonian XPA. I prefered the XPA as i like their beers.

Our regular Friday at the Steamer,the FYLDE FOLK FESTIVAL has just started and the town is full of men with long hair ,beards and tankards hanging from their belts,it looks like being a busy weekend.The landlord has put on a good show of cask beers this will be his first festival i hope he has done his reserch.

The landlord of this pub should be given credit for the hard work he and his wife are putting into this pub.Always very pleasent and puts on the best cask beers from the brewers the company deal with.Tonight all are on form,

The pub is busy this lunchtime as it is market day.Holiday makers from Blackpool visit and call in for food and a drink and listen to the live folk music.The guest beer on today was Deuchars IPA one of the best.
