Excellent Pub, Good atmosphere. Worth a visit. They had two special Titanic beers on just for this pub. And five more ales on plus Greene King IPA.

The pub was not as busy as usual for a tuesday lunch. There was a good bar of guest beers, and we tried the Arizona a great beer from Phoenix.

As the guest beer list shows this pub is like going to a beer festival every time you visit.All the beers are in tip top condition and served by staff who are good at there job.I had never heard of Wylam Brewery before but it is one of th best bitters i have tasted in quite a while.I found out that the brewery is in Wainfleet Lincs,same village as Batemans i must arrange avisit to that area in the new year.

Possibly the best real ale pub on the fylde coast,there is always ten or eleven cask beers on sale,we spent a couple of hours enjoying a great selection of top class cask beers it would be very rare to find a better pub than this hence all the awards that they have deservedly won.Food is on sale all day up to early evening.
