The Bear on the Square aspires to be Millom's Number 1 Real Ale Pub, serving a range of Real Ales, both brewed locally and Internationally. In addition, we will also stock a range of specialist Bottled Beers and Lagers. What to expect at the Bear A friendly, homely atmosphere with no TV or Juke Box allowing for good conversation. There will be a range of games on offer, books, Magazines etc. There will also be a couple of really big tables so that big groups of people can sit together and engage in conversation whilst enjoying some of the fine real ales and home cooked food on offer.

First impressions are that this is a bit rough, but the staff were friendly and the food was excellent. Worth a visit.
