A charming old Hotel/Pub just behind the seafront and close to the Docks and back beach area of Teignmouth. It has admittedly seen better days, but it still retains atmosphere and has a good reputation for live music. Sadly on several occasions over the last few years the cellar management has left a lot to be desired. However one lives in hope that the publican WILL take note of this failing eventually.

Visted The Devon Arms 20/6/2011 and while I have a soft spot for this pub I have to say that the real ale tried on this occasion was above the recommended temperature and worse still was served in a warm glass! I have returned beer in this pub before when it was obvious that the pipes were unclean and was disturbed to still see mistakes happening in the cellar. It was simply a waste of good ale.
