The Lansdowne is tucked away just outside the main tourist areas of Dawlish. However it is still easy to find and is within easy walking distance of the railway station, main bus stops and parking. Known to it's regulars as 'The Lanny' this well run and friendly pub keeps its every changing selection of Real Ales in fine condition. To this can be added a wide selection of spirits, good bar food, clean loos and outside seating on a roof terrace. 'The Lanny' can be strongly recommended and well worth a visit or two.

Visited 'The Lanny' on the 25th April 2012. As ever the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The staff efficient and helpful. The six real ales available were in fine condition, cool, but not cold and tasted as they should. The BUTCOMBE BITTER was particularly good Looking forward to my next visit
