The old North Bridge Inn was rebranded as The NBI when it re-opened on the 30th october 2009. The new landlady, Sarah Taylor has brought a fresh and innovative approach to running this cosy pub on the edge of Exeter City centre. Being a Free House, Sarah is sourcing the Real Ale from Devon and Somerset breweries initially. A good selection of fine wines and spirits complements the excellently kept Ale. Certainly a pub, and a publican to watch.

If I had to invent a fantasy pub it would be this one - in every way. I have a fondness for light coloured and hoppier beers and the pub never fails to deliver. But it also has a brilliant atmosphere and I like the music too.

Visited this interesting little pub on the 26/11/2010. The welcome from the landlady, Sarah Taylor was warm and friendly. The atmosphere is good and the ale is really well kept. The pub also benefits from having a bar cat called 'Churchill'. I recommend searching out The NBI which is nicely situated between the University, St Davids Station and the City Centre.
