Recently re-opened and totally renovated, The Oaks is a very smart and clean pub that serves decent food and a wide range of real ales and bottled beers from around the world. The beer menu is a nice touch which I wish more pubs would provide.
The Oaks has been newly decorated throughout and the interior is modern without being too showy. There's also a weekly guest ale, which keeps things interesting and the Wainwright is well kept. Meals are available daily between 11am – 7pm.
On Sundays, there's a £7.99 carvery, with discounts for children.
