This is an amazing multi-level, industrial style establishment, with a huge amount of metal piping running in all directions. Sort of pub meets factory, yet it works wonderfully well. The place is bright, clean, warm and friendly. An excellent and extensive menu is available from 12 midday to 9pm Mon-Sat and to 7pm on Sundays....no irritating closing of the kitchen from 3pm to 6pm. The beers range from the fine products of the parent company,Porterhouse Brewing of Ireland to a huge range of bottled European and North American beers. For a touch of Irish hospitality in central London this place would be hard to beat!

Visited The Porterhouse in Covent Garden on the 8th February 2012 and was bowled over by its amazing layout and looks. From the heated outdoor area available for smokers to the gleaming metal pipework that links the multi-level open floor plan, it is simply a great experience. Add great food and true, friendly Irish hospitality and you will want to revisit regularly. The Porterhouse beers are superb, AN BRAIN BLASTER at 7% and OYSTER STOUT 4.8% were both in fine condition.... frankly I was enjoying myself so much I forgot to list the rest, well that's my excuse anyway! As for getting in to the bottle beers available....well how long have I got? I shall be back, many, many times
