A jewel of a London Victorian pub in the heart of the City's Theatre land. Amazing interior reminds one of a old fashioned 'Gin Palace' and none the worse for that. Good food and friendly staff compliment a considerable range of well kept Real Ales. This pub is certainly well worth a visit

Visited this excellent pub on the 14th March 2012. Packed to the rafters even in mid afternoon, it had a friendly atmosphere provided by good staff and noisy, jolly customers. The Real Ale was in very good condition and one in particular was superb, MARSTON'S SINGLE HOP using East Kent Goldings. This is a great pub and I shall be back...again and again.
