I can do no better than quote from the pubs own blurb "With fantastic panoramic views of the Devon coast from our restaurant and outside areas it really does make your visit an exceptional experience" The old worldy building and beautiful setting is complimented by the hard work that Nick and Donna have done over the last few years improving the cellars to ensure first class ale reaches the pumps as well as installing a new kitchen to provide good quality food in a restaurant that has views the envy of any pub in Britain! I have had the pleasure of being a regular visitor to this pub since the 1950's and it certainly is well worth a visit.

Visited The Smugglers Inn at Dawlish on 20/10/2010 and despite all attempts by the Chancellor to cast a gloom over everything, the atmosphere in the pub was fantastic and the beer excellent Stayed far longer that I should have as the O'HANLONS YELLOWHAMMER was in magnificent condition, and the sun was shining over Lyme Bay.....bliss....no wonder Devon rhymes with Heaven!
