The Union Inn is as well known for providing good quality meals at reasonable prices as for its ale. This is a pity as the Pub is undoubtedly one of the best in Newton Abbot. The ale is well kept and the right temperature. John, the cellarman,is dedicated to his craft and has some 25 years of experience under his belt. Though they tend to concentrate on West Country ales this still allows them a fairly healthy variety. I happily recommend a visit or two
