This is a massive pub that has a good selection of real ales. It is quite highly priced but the beer is always good quality. It can get busy especially just after everyone finishes work and goes for a quick pint. It opens till 11 monday to saturday but is closed all day on sundays

A poor selection of ales were available at the Victoria on this visit. Just Tetleys and Landlord were the only regulars and the rather strong 6% Gorlovka was the only guest, which I had a pint of. The lack of ale here is probably due to the pubco Mitchells & Butlers enforcing a beer list containing just beers from the bigger breweries on the pub, also happening at the Scarbrough and Palace in Leeds.
