This is my local pub as I live on the estate next to it so thought I would give it a review... From the outside this looks like a old pub - Brick facade chimneys on top etc however as you go in it still looks traditional however with a modern twist, The pub is also Cask Marque. Beer. There is 3 guest ales, Tetleys Cask is constantly on and there is also 1 cider choice. The breweries that they get always changes, However the likes of Lancaster Brewery, Hobgoblin, Caledonian, Hob-goblin to name a few and also a few new ones crop up. There is a chalk board with what real ales they are how they taste and there abv, Also what is coming up. The prices are a bit expensive however the quality of the beer is always constant. There is Appley Bridge train station less than a mile away and the area itself is a quite corner of Wigan.
