Fairly recently refurbished town centre hotel that is one of the more popular places in March. There are three real ale pumps and they are all usually on reasonable form. Staff are pleasant and fairly attentive. There is a strong food trade with many reasonably priced dishes. Not fine dining but well cooked homemade fayre.
