SpeedCut is a Chrome extension that controls YouTube video playback speed using keyboard shortcuts. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

## Data Collection

**SpeedCut does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data.**

### What We Store Locally

The extension stores the following data **locally on your device only** using Chrome's `storage.sync` API:

- Your custom keyboard shortcuts (keybindings)

This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not transmitted to any external servers
- Is not shared with any third parties
- Can be deleted by uninstalling the extension

### What We Do NOT Collect

- Personal information (name, email, etc.)
- Browsing history
- YouTube viewing habits
- IP addresses
- Analytics or tracking data
- Any form of user identification

## Permissions

The extension requires the following permissions:

## Third-Party Services

SpeedCut does not use any third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data collection services.
