## Cultural Context

Persephone is the Greek goddess of spring and queen of the underworld — daughter of Demeter, the harvest goddess. After eating pomegranate seeds in the underworld, she was bound to spend part of each year with Hades, explaining the seasons. Virgo is traditionally depicted holding a sheaf of wheat (the star Spica in the Virgo constellation means "ear of grain"). The sign is ruled by Mercury, which in medical astrology governs the nervous system. Alex Grey is a contemporary artist known for depicting the human body's energy systems and anatomical layers.

## Visual Elements

Persephone depicted as Virgo. Holding a pomegranate. Wheat sprigs in hair reference both Demeter and the Virgo sheaf of grain. 141.27 Hz frequency of Mercury (Virgo's ruling planet) reflected in the background pattern flow. Background inspired by Alex Grey's work. Nervous system detail on the body — Mercury rules the nervous system. Green and gold palette for harvest and wealth. Red is deliberately absent to convey virginal purity.

## Justification

Every Mibera carries three zodiac placements (sun, moon, rising) as modifier signals in the identity hierarchy. The 12 zodiac grails each represent one sign as its own identity.
