*Goya's Saturn Devouring His Son — cfang as Saturn*

## Cultural Context

"Saturn Devouring His Son" is one of Francisco Goya's Black Paintings (c. 1819–1823), found on the walls of his house after his death. It depicts the titan Cronus (Roman: Saturn) consuming one of his children to prevent a prophecy that he would be overthrown by his own son. Charlotte Fang is the founder of Milady Maker. Milady Mfers is a derivative project within the Milady ecosystem, created by Gumibera.

## Visual Elements

Based on Goya's "Saturn Devouring His Son." Charlotte Fang depicted as Saturn. Milady Mfers depicted as the son being consumed — representing the relationship between an original project and its derivatives.

## Justification

The planet and luminary grails represent the celestial bodies as their own identities — the sources of the energy that the zodiac system channels.
