# belch

## Visual Elements

an open mouth with squiggly outline, portraying air movement.

## Cultural Context

A belch is an involuntary release of gas from the stomach through the mouth, depicted here with a squiggly outline suggesting air movement. In character art, the belch expression conveys uninhibited, unfiltered behavior — a rejection of politeness norms in favor of raw, bodily honesty.

<!-- justification
## Justification

Unfiltered and unapologetic — the belch is anti-polite energy, the kind of unself-conscious expression that belongs at an afters.
