# normal

## Visual Elements

a mouth portrayed by a short thin stroke.

## Cultural Context

The normal mouth is a short, thin stroke representing the most neutral possible expression — neither smiling nor frowning, simply present. This minimal rendering reflects the collection's shift to "smol mouths" during development, where the team found that smaller, simpler mouths better suited the character's proportions and style.

<!-- justification
## Justification

The default state — normal is the mouth at rest, the foundation from which all other expressions depart.
