# Milady Eyes Hand

## Visual Elements

Pair of big (milady) eyes with 2 eyebrows tilting upwards from the inside, and a tiny mouth.

## Cultural Context

Milady Maker is a collection of 10,000 generative profile picture NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain, launched in August 2021 by the Remilia Collective. Inspired by 2000s Tokyo street fashion and the "neochibi" aesthetic, it features anime-style avatars with randomized accessories, rated by a "Drip Score" for stylishness. Popular on Crypto Twitter, it gained fame after Elon Musk’s tweet in 2023, boosting its floor price. The project includes community events like raves, VRtube avatars, and a Minecraft metaverse.

<!-- justification
## Justification

Milady Maker's oversized eyes are the most instantly recognizable element of the neochibi aesthetic that inspired Mibera's Milady archetype. Tattooing them as a hand piece is a permanent pledge of allegiance to the culture.
