Sami flag with airbrush texture. Red on the left, blue on the right, 2 stripes in the middle- one green, one yellow, and topped with a circle- half in blue (left) and half in red (right).

## Cultural Context

Indigenous peoples of the Nordic countries and the Kola Peninsula of the Russian Federation.
<!-- justification
## Justification

A flag for a people whose nation has no borders -- it represents the Sami ancestor lineage and the idea that cultural identity persists regardless of the state lines drawn over it.
