# Seoul Olympics
## Visual Elements
Black cropped long-sleeves with “SEO- OLYMPICS” and the olympics symbol on it (5 conjoined rings in black, yellow, white, green, and red in order from left to right); as well as the number 19 on the left side and 8 on the right side. Underneath it is a bright yellow long sleeve.
## Cultural Context
The most direct link between the Olympics and rave culture was the KunstDisco Seoul, a temporary “art disco” venue organized by West Germany as a cultural pavilion during the Games. Running for the full 16 days in a custom-built space near the Olympic Village, it was a hybrid of gallery, concert hall, and nightclub and essentially became an early prototype for the rave format.
