# DARE Rave

## Visual Elements

Black t-shirt with “D.A.R.E” in red written in the upper middle section. Below it is white text that spells “DRUG ABUSE RAVES ETHEREUM”.

## Cultural Context

D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) was a 1983 anti-drug program whose merchandise was widely co-opted by rave culture as ironic fashion. This variant spells out Drug Abuse Raves Ethereum, merging rave culture and crypto.

<!-- justification
## Justification

D.A.R.E. shirts worn ironically at raves have been a thing since the 1990s. Adding Ethereum to the acronym connects a classic rave culture joke to the crypto world Mibera lives in.
