# Mr Acid House

## Visual Elements

Washed red t-shirt with a big graphic of a yellow smiley man with his hand on his mouth, and the text “MR. ACID HOUSE” below it.

## Cultural Context

A play on the Mr. Men series — the beloved British children's book characters created by Roger Hargreaves in 1971, each named "Mr." followed by a personality trait (Mr. Happy, Mr. Grumpy, etc.). This shirt reimagines the format with the acid house smiley face as "Mr. Acid House," merging a wholesome British cultural institution with the Second Summer of Love's defining symbol.

<!-- justification
## Justification

Mr. Acid House personifies the smiley face that defined an entire era. This shirt puts a name to the most recognizable symbol in rave history.
