# Not Gay

## Visual Elements

Black t-shirt with white text that says “I’M NOT GAY BUT WHEN I LOOK AT NAKED DUDES I GET HORNY AND JACK OFF” in thin font.

## Cultural Context

Ironic confession tees that contradict their own message are a staple of internet humor culture. The format -- declaring one thing while describing the opposite -- is a classic template in post-ironic fashion that has circulated in online communities since the early 2010s.

<!-- justification
## Justification

The shirt says one thing and means the opposite, which is the entire operating principle of post-ironic internet culture. The collection captures this register because it is the native language of its community.
