# Special K

## Visual Elements

White t-shirt with white text that reads “special K.” with the ‘K’ being a big letter in red and curvy-shaped lettering.

## Cultural Context

Special K is widely recognized slang for ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic that became prevalent in rave and club culture from the 1990s onward. The design mimics the Kelloggs Special K cereal branding, a visual pun that has circulated as bootleg merch in rave communities for decades.

<!-- justification
## Justification

The Special K cereal logo as ketamine merch is one of the oldest visual puns in rave culture. People actually wore these shirts to clubs, and the bouncers always got the joke.
