# Dcf

## Visual Elements

## Cultural Context

DCF is a named character from the Bong Bears collection, with the name referencing Discounted Cash Flow, a fundamental valuation method in finance used to estimate the present value of future cash flows. In crypto and DeFi culture, "DCF" is often invoked both seriously and ironically given the difficulty of applying traditional financial models to speculative digital assets. Bong Bears is one of the foundational NFT collections in the Berachain ecosystem, and a bear named after a Wall Street valuation technique nods to the overlap between finance culture and the crypto-native community.

<!-- justification
## Justification

A Bong Bear named after a finance valuation model is the perfect collision of Wall Street and Web3 degen culture, and the swag score of 5 says this bear knows its terminal value.
