# keyboard guitar

## Visual Elements

a keyboard guitar, in light grey, held by the top handle.

## Cultural Context

The keytar blurs the line between guitar showmanship and synthesizer technology — portable enough for stage antics, electronic enough for the scene.

<!-- justification
## Justification

The keytar is a transitional fossil — the moment rock showmanship met synthesizer technology. It marks the exact cultural hinge between guitar music and electronic music in the 1980s.
