# la rave flyers

## Visual Elements

A thin, neon yellow booklet that says “LOS ANGELES RAVE FLYERS 1991-1994” in black text.

## Cultural Context

Los Angeles rave flyers from the early 1990s documented a scene that blended West Coast psychedelia with electronic music imported from the UK and Europe. These flyers are now collected as folk art, capturing a moment when underground culture communicated through paper instead of screens.

<!-- justification
## Justification

The West Coast chapter of the global rave story. Including LA alongside UK flyers shows the movement wasn't just a European export.
