## Visual Elements

a red book titled “Scum Manifesto” by Valerie Solanas, 1968

## Cultural Context

The SCUM Manifesto is Valerie Solanas' 1967 radical feminist text calling for the overthrow of patriarchal society. Its inclusion alongside other countercultural texts positions the collection's literary references across the full spectrum of revolutionary thought.

<!-- justification
## Justification

The most confrontational text in the collection. Mibera's bookshelf includes radical feminism right next to the Shulgins and Spiral Tribe because counterculture means all of it.
