# tabernaemontana plant

## Visual Elements

a small stem of white flowers and buds, radiant in color

## Cultural Context

Tabernaemontana species are related to iboga and contain alkaloids used in traditional medicine across tropical regions. They represent the lesser-known branches of psychoactive botany that the collection deliberately highlights.

<!-- justification
## Justification

Most people know iboga; almost nobody knows its botanical relatives. The collection goes deep on the pharmacological family tree, not just the famous members.
