QPOS ("we," "our," or "the app") is a queue-based point of sale application designed for service businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

Information Collection and Storage

Data Stored Locally

QPOS stores all data locally on your device using SQLite database. We collect and store:

• Business Information: Business name, address, phone, email, tax rate, currency settings
• Customer Information: Names, phone numbers, loyalty points (when provided)
• Transaction Data: Tickets, services, payments, receipts
• User Accounts: Usernames, encrypted PINs, roles, permissions
• Staff Information: Staff names, contact details, specializations
• Service Catalog: Service names, prices, durations, categories

Data We Do NOT Collect

How We Use Information

Data stored locally is used solely for:

• Managing your business operations
• Processing customer transactions
• Generating business reports
• Printing receipts via Bluetooth printers
• Managing user access and permissions
• Tracking customer loyalty points

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third parties.

The only exception is when YOU choose to:

• Email reports to yourself (requires your explicit action)
• Share receipts with customers (requires your explicit action)
• Export data as CSV files (requires your explicit action)

Permissions Required

🔵 Bluetooth (Required for Printing)

• Purpose: Connect to Bluetooth thermal printers
• Usage: Only when you initiate printing
• Data: No Bluetooth data transmitted outside the app

📍 Location (Required by Android)

• Purpose: Android requires this for Bluetooth scanning
• Usage: We do NOT track or store your location
• Data: Location data is never collected

🌐 Internet (Optional)

• Purpose: Send email reports if configured
• Usage: Only when you manually trigger sending
• Data: Only report data you choose to send

💾 Storage

• Purpose: Store business data locally
• Usage: All data remains on your device
• Data: Stored in encrypted SQLite database

Data Security

• All data stored locally on your device
• User PINs are encrypted
• No data transmitted to external servers
• Protected by your device's security measures

Data Retention

• Data remains on your device until you delete it
• Configurable automatic archival (30-365 days)
• Archived data remains on your device
• Uninstalling deletes all local data

Your Rights and Controls

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: View all data within the app
• Modify: Edit or update any information
• Delete: Remove records or clear all data
• Export: Export data as CSV files
• Archive: Configure automatic archival

Children's Privacy

QPOS is a business application intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

Third-Party Services

QPOS uses:

• Flutter Framework: Open-source UI (no data collection)
• SQLite: Local database (no external communication)
• Bluetooth Plugins: Printer connectivity (no data transmission)

We do NOT use analytics, advertising, social media, or cloud storage services.

Data Deletion

To delete all data:

1. Uninstall the QPOS app from your device
2. All local data will be permanently deleted
3. No data remains on external servers

Compliance

QPOS is designed to comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable data protection laws. Since all data is stored locally and under your control, you maintain full compliance responsibility for your business operations.
