Thank you for using SummaryBest ("the App"), a service provided by NanoNova ("we," "us," or "
our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information
when you use our mobile application.

We collect the content you provide to the App for the purpose of summarization. This includes:

* **Text and URLs:** Any text or article URLs you paste or share into the app.
* **Documents:** Documents (e.g., PDF, DOCX) that you upload to the app for summarization.
* **Images:** Images (e.g., JPG, PNG, WEBP) that you upload for analysis or summarization.
* **YouTube Video Links:** URLs to YouTube videos that you provide for summarization.

* **Usage Data:** We may automatically collect information about how you access and use the App,
  such as your device's IP address, operating system version, device type, crash logs, and a unique
  device identifier. This data is used for analytics and to improve the stability and functionality
  of our app.

Having accurate information permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized
experience. Specifically, we use information collected about you via the Application to:

* **Provide Core Services:** To process and summarize the content (articles, documents, images,
  videos) you provide.
* **Improve Our Application:** To analyze usage and trends to improve the App's functionality, user
  experience, and AI model performance.
* **Ensure Security and Stability:** To monitor for and prevent security issues, fraud, and to
  diagnose and fix technical problems (crashes).

### 3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal data. However, we may share the information we have collected about you
in certain situations.

#### A. Third-Party AI/LLM Providers

To provide the summarization feature, the content you submit (text, document content, image data, or
transcripts from YouTube videos) is sent to a third-party Large Language Model (LLM) service for
processing.

The current AI providers includes (not limited to): OpenAI, Google (Gemini API), Anthropic, etc..

We only send the data required for the summarization task.

#### B. Third-Party Analytics

We may use third-party service providers, such as Google Analytics for Firebase, to monitor and
analyze the use of our Application. These services may use cookies or other tracking technologies to

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such
action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend our rights or
property, or (iii) protect the personal safety of users of the Application or the public.

* **Retention:** The content you submit for summarization (text, documents, etc.) is retained on our
  servers only for the duration necessary to perform the summarization and is deleted shortly after.
  We may retain anonymized usage and analytics data for a longer period to improve our service.
* **Security:** We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect
  your information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the information you provide to
  us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.

### 5. Data Deletion Requests

To request deletion of data associated with SummaryBest, email us at
supermanzhouhan@gmail.com with the subject "SummaryBest data deletion request". Please describe the
data you want deleted. We will delete data under our control and will explain if any data is stored
only on your device, has already been deleted, or must be retained for legal or security reasons.

### 6. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly
collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have
collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information
from our files as soon as possible.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting
