You have complete control over whether Your data is backed up to the cloud. Data You Control You have complete control over all data You enter into the Kids ID Kit Application. This includes: - Child identification information - Physical descriptions and distinguishing features - Medical information - Family member details - Contact information - Photos and media - Social media accounts - Friends - Care providers All such information remains on Your device and is not transmitted anywhere unless You explicitly choose to export or share that data Yourself. The Kids ID Kit Application uses industry-standard encryption (AES-256) to protect data stored locally on Your device. When You export Your data: - Your data remains encrypted using the same AES-256 encryption standard - The exported file is completely under Your control - You decide where to store the exported data (cloud storage, external drive, email, etc.) - You decide with whom to share the exported data, if anyone - You are responsible for the security and privacy of exported data once it leaves Your device - Missing Children Minnesota has no access to or control over exported data file The Kids ID Kit Application also provides You with a way to export data in a non encrypted format to be shared outside the application, such as sending to law enforcement. - Your data is stored in a plain text html file - The exported file is completely under Your control - You decide where to store the exported data (cloud storage, external drive, email, etc.) - You decide with whom to share the exported data, if anyone - You are responsible for the security and privacy of exported data once it leaves Your device - Missing Children Minnesota has no access to or control over exported data file You have complete control over Your personal data. You can delete any information at any time directly within the Kids ID Kit Application using its delete features. Simply: 1. Navigate to the data You wish to delete 2. Select the delete option 3. Confirm the deletion All Your data is stored locally on Your device, so deletion is immediate and permanent. Disclosure of Your Personal Data The Kids ID Kit Application does not disclose any personal data to third parties. Since all data is stored exclusively on Your local device and never transmitted to our servers or any external services, there are no situations where We would disclose your data to: - Third-party service providers - Business partners - Law enforcement (as MCM has no access to user data) - Any other organizations The only exception would be if You explicitly choose to export, share, or transmit data Yourself outside of the application, which is entirely within Your control.
