Editing operations are restricted to this field, i.e. only the target text of the active segment may be edited at any time. Text in any text field outside the editor field can however be marked and copied for pasting. OmegaTの編集機能は「編集フィールド」（ターゲット文書のアクティブセグメント）で使用できます。逆に、その部分しか編集できません。編集フィールド外のテキストは選択とコピーのみ行えます。 OmegaT supports the usual mouse operations, cursor keys and cursor key shortcuts, and shortcuts for mark, cut and paste operations. These are likely to vary between operating systems. OmegaTでは通常のマウス、カーソルキーとそのショートカット、選択用ショートカット、切り取りと貼り付けなどの操作が行えます。操作方法はOSによって違います。 Undo and Redo operations are possible with <i0>Ctrl-Z</i0> and <i1>Ctrl-Y</i1> respectively. やり直し(Undo)と繰り返し(Redo)操作は<i0>Ctrl-Z</i0> と <i1>Ctrl-Y</i1> で行えます。 You cannot <b0>add</b0> any formatting to the text you are translating. The formatting of a formatted file (at present, StarOffice/OpenOffice.org and HTML are the supported formats), is retained, and you have a limited degree of control over it. (Refer to <a1>Tags</a1> for details.) Place any files you wish to translate in this directory after creating your project and before opening it. By default, they are all grouped under the project root directory, but you can choose alternative locations for them by clicking on the <i0>Browse</i0> button. You can therefore keep translation memories in a particular directories, for example, and select the desired directory when you create each new project rather than having to copy the translation memory file into the newly created <i1>/tm</i1> directory. プロジェクトディレクトリはプロジェクト作成時に自動的に生成されます。デフォルトではプロジェクトルートディレクトリ以下に置かれますが、<i0>参照</i0>ボタンで他の場所を選ぶこともできます。それによって翻訳メモリの場所を特定できます＝新しいプロジェクトの作成ごとに古い翻訳メモリを<i1>/tm</i1>ディレクトリにコピーしなくて済みます。 To change the location of directories retrospectively, i.e. those of an existing project, delete the directory concerned. (Do not do this whilst the project is open.) When the project is next opened, OmegaT detects that some directories are missing, and presents you with the directory selection dialog in which you can select the new locations. 既存プロジェクトのディレクトリを変更したくなった際には、(プロジェクトが開かれていないときに)変更したいディレクトリを削除してください。 再度プロジェクトが開かれたとき、OmegaT は失われたディレクトリを検知して新しい場所を聞いてくるダイアログを表示します。 Using different fonts and alphabets フォントの選択 previous: <a0>Editing tagged texts 前: <a0>タグ入りテキストの編集 next: <a0>Working with OpenOffice.org 次: <a0>OpenOffice.orgとの連携 Select a different display font with <i0>Configuration</i0> > <i1>Font</i1>. The font type and size can be selected. The font selected applies to the display only; it has no effect upon fonts used in formatted documents. The fonts available for selection are those available on your system. <i0>設定</i0> > <i1>フォント</i1>から画面のフォントの大きさ、タイプを選択できます。変化は表示にのみ適用され、編集後のテキストには影響しません。システムで使用可能なフォントがすべて選択可能です。 In order to permit translation between two languages which employ different alphabets, select a font which contains the characters of <b0>both</b0> alphabets. Install an additional font if necessary. 二つの異なる文字を持つ言語にまたがって翻訳するときは、<b0>両方</b0>の文字を表示可能なフォントを選択してください。必要な場合は新たなフォントをインストールしてください。 If no single font contains the characters of both alphabets, you can select a virtual Java font (such as “Serif”), and define this font such that it uses multiple real fonts. In this dialog, select a suitable directory into which to place your project. ファイル選択のダイアログが出ますので、適当なフォルダを選んでください。 In the File name field, enter a name (e.g. <i0>ABC</i0>) for your project, and confirm. 名前の入力欄にプロジェクト名 (例えば <i0>ABC</i0>など) を入力してOKをクリックしてください。 Another dialog is called up, this time indicating the directories for the project. As you can see from the dialog, OmegaT is proposing to create a new directory with the name you selected (e.g. <i0>ABC</i0>), and below that a further five subdirectories. You can modify the locations of these default directories, but for the sake of the example, confirm the defaults. The actual codes are not particularly important unless you intend to exchange translation memories with customers or colleagues, in which case you should be careful to follow the standard required (usually ISO). ソース言語欄とターゲット言語欄に言語とロケールコードを入力します。例えば、ドイツ語だとDE-CH (スイス)、英語だとEN-UK (英国)となります。翻訳メモリを同僚や顧客と共有しない限り、それらは重要ではありません。必要な際は適切な基準に従ってください。(基本的にはISOコード。日本語はjaとなります) OmegaT now creates a main directory (also referred to as the “project root directory”) with the name you selected previously (e.g. <i0>ABC</i0>). Below the project root directory are five subdirectories: <i1>/glossary</i1>, <i2>/source</i2>, <i3>/omegat</i3>, <i4>/target</i4> and <i5>/tm</i5>. OmegaT automatically looks in the directory you last opened. Do not try to open any other file, such as your source text file — it won't work! Type in your translation and delete the original text. To use an existing glossary, simply place it in the <i0>/glossary</i0> directory after creating the project. (See <a1>here</a1> for glossary file formats.) OmegaT automatically detects glossary files in this directory when a project is opened. Terms in the active segment which OmegaT finds in the glossary file(s) are displayed in the Match and Glossary Viewer window. グロッサリ機能は自動で働きます。既存のグロッサリを有効にするには<i0>/glossary</i0>ディレクトリにそれをコピーしてください。(<a1>こちら</a1>にグロッサリファイルのフォーマットを紹介しています) プロジェクトを開いたときにOmegaTは自動的にグロッサリを検知します。アクティブなセグメントの語彙がグロッサリのものと一致する場合はそれが一致とグロッサリ(Match and Glossary)ウィンドウに表示されます。 The glossary function only finds exact matches with the glossary entry (i.e. not inflected forms etc.). グロッサリ機能は完全一致のみ表示します。(活用形を含まない、など) New terms can be added manually to the glossary file(s) during translation (for example in a text editor), but newly added terms will not be recognized until the project is next opened. 翻訳中にグロッサリファイルを(テキストエディタなどで)直接編集し、エントリを追加することは可能です。しかし追加分は次にプロジェクトを開くまで有効になりません。 Important 重要 previous: <a0>Installation and Configuration 前: <a0>インストールと設定 next: <a0>Getting started 次: <a0>はじめてみよう OmegaT is a robust application. It is not prone to crashing or to loss or corruption of data. However, you should take precautions against data loss when using OmegaT, just as with any other application. One, install the J2RE (if it isn't already installed). Two, install OmegaT. Three, configure (only necessary for Linux). You can install the J2RE and OmegaT in either order. It is available both as a standalone product, and as part of the Java developer's kit. Java実行環境 (J2RE) はシステムでのJavaアプリケーション実行に必要です。スタンドアローン版と開発環境キット付の2つの形で配布されています。 Java is also available as a plug-in for web browsers. This form of Java will <b0>not</b0> enable you to run OmegaT. Javaはブラウザへのプラグインとしても配布されています。しかしこのタイプのJavaではOmegaTは実行<b0>できません</b0> 。 JavaScript is a different product altogether and is not related technically to Java at all. JavaScript別の製品で、技術的にはJavaと関係ありません。 If you want to use OmegaT, the J2RE <b0>must</b0> be installed on your system. OmegaT will not work without it. Please do not try getting OmegaT to work without the J2RE. You will only be wasting your time! If nothing happens, or you receive error messages, the Java Runtime Environment is almost certainly not installed. In this case, please obtain it and install it. So, all versions of the JRE above 1 are known as “Java 2”, hence the Java Runtime Environment is now the J2RE. The Java Runtime Environment may also be known as the Java Virtual Machine, or JVM, and on Macintosh, it may be known as the MRJ. The developer's kit has been known as the Java Developer's Kit (JDK), Software Developer's Kit (SDK), and now also J2SE, J2EE and J2ME, according to the version. At least, I think so. On MacOSX, JRE comes pre-installed and preconfigured. MacOSXではJava実行環境のインストールが必要ありません。プレインストール・設定済みで出荷されています。 Windows users: you can check which version of the Java Runtime Environment, if any, is installed with Start button/Windows key > <i0>Settings</i0> > <i1>Control Panel</i1>. If the J2RE is already installed, you will see a control panel labelled “Java(TM)2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition 1.3.0_01” or similar. The version installed will be returned (assuming of course that it is installed at system level). It is free (note the licence conditions), but the naming conventions may make finding the right version a little confusing. You will need the version for your platform (Linux, Windows, etc.). The size of the J2RE is around 14 MB. However, we recommend that you obtain the latest version of the J2RE, since older versions of Java may not support certain features. The developer's kit contains its own copy of the J2RE, and also enables you to modify OmegaT. It assists you by storing pieces of text in a database (the “translation memory”) so that when you next encounter the same piece of text (a “segment”), or part of it, you can see immediately how you translated it in the past. A 100% match, if found and exactly, line-by-line equal to the translated text, is inserted automatically into the target text field of the active segment (this means, that although “Hi!” and “Hi” are in fact 100% matches, there will be no automatic insert, as the strings are not the same). Compiling is simply the process whereby OmegaT replaces the segments in the original text with the translations in this file. It also generates a translation memory in its final, reusable form. You needn't wait until the translation is finished to compile; you can compile as many times as you like. OmegaTでの翻訳中、訳文は原文を置き換えているのではなく別のファイルに保存されています。ここでの「コンパイル」とは訳文ファイルで原文のセグメントを置き換える作業を指します。同時に再利用可能な形での翻訳メモリファイルも作られます。作業の途中でも、何度でもコンパイルを行うことが可能です＝全て完了させるまで待つ必要はありません。 Avoiding disasters 最悪の事態を避けよう Make regular copies of the file <i0>/omegat/project_save.tmx</i0>. Add a serial number or the date to the copy, e.g. <i1>/omegat/project_save.tmx-01</i1> or <i2>/omegat/project_save.tmx-04-05-04</i2>. This file can also be transferred to other media such as a diskette as a convenient way of making quick backups. OmegaTに慣れるまでは、頻繁にコンパイルを行って結果ファイルをチェックしてください。 Take particular care when making any changes to the files in <i0>/source</i0> whilst in the middle of a project. Sometimes, you will want to make changes to source files, for example to remove hard line breaks from the middle of sentences. However, if the source file is modified after you have begun translating, OmegaT may be unable to find a segment that you have already translated. If you suspect that your text might contain manual line breaks in inconvenient places, it is therefore worth editing it before opening the project. If you are confronted with bad segmenting (e.g. a line break in the middle of a sentence) whilst you are working in OmegaT, you can remove the break from the source text (for example in a text editor or word processor). You will not see the change in OmegaT until you reload the project, however. These macros convert sentences in OpenOffice.org files to paragraphs so that when the file is opened in OmegaT, it is segmented by the sentence rather than by the paragraph. OpenOffice.org is open-source, meaning essentially that it is free, and can be copied freely. StarOffice is a commercial product: you must buy a licence for each system on which you intend to use it. StarOffice contains certain components which are not present in OpenOffice.org; purchasing a licence also entitles you to technical support. For the purpose of this manual, all references to OpenOffice.org apply equally to StarOffice. It does not require OpenOffice.org or StarOffice, MS Word, or any other word processor. When you have finished your translation, open them in OpenOffice.org again and save them in the original format. Spellchecking and sentence-level rather than paragraph-level segmenting are two functions not provided in OmegaT itself but made possible with OpenOffice.org. MS Wordのファイルは「Fast Save」で保存されていないことを確認してください。でないとOpenOffice.orgはファイルを読み込めません。 Don't attempt to load OpenOffice.org files saved with the “Revision” function (i.e. “Record changes”) active into OmegaT. Disable the function and accept all the changes first. This problem is most likely to occur when you receive MS Word files which have been saved with the “Revision” function enabled, and you are not aware of the fact. OpenOffice.org supports this function (which is in fact very useful), but it should not be used in conjunction with OmegaT. Then, before loading a project containing OpenOffice.org files for the first time, open these files in OpenOffice.org and change the language of the text to your target language by marking the whole text with <i0>Ctrl-A</i0>, then <i1>Format</i1> > <i2>Character</i2> > <i3>Language</i3>. You can then use OpenOffice.org to spellcheck your finished translation after compilation. You will probably want to open the file in OpenOffice.org in any case, in order to spell-check it. You may also find however that OmegaT may miss parts of the text, such as headers and footers. In this case, open the project again and use the Validate tags function to locate the affected segment(s). The tags you see in OmegaT are not the same as those used by the original applications; OmegaT converts them internally, and converts them back at compilation. If they are changed accidentally, the formatting of the final file may be corrupted. (Microsoft Office files II) 空っぽのプロジェクト？(Microsoft Officeファイル2) If you have created a new project and copied the files for translation into the <i0>/source</i0> directory, but OmegaT tells you that the project is empty, then the files are probably MS Word files and you have forgotten to convert them to OpenOffice.org format. 新しいプロジェクトで、ファイルを<i0>/source</i0>ディレクトリに保存したのにOmegaTが「空のプロジェクト」と言う場合には、ファイルがMS Wordファイルのままだと思われます。Openoffice.orgファイルに変換してください。 Displaying the layout while you translate 翻訳中のレイアウト表示 If you feel the need to see the layout of your text whilst you translate, simply keep a copy of the original file open in a word processor in a separate window. 翻訳中にテキストのレイアウトを表示したい際には、別のコピーをワードプロセッサーで開いてください。 One project at once ! 一度に開けるプロジェクトはひとつだけ！ Don't try to create a new project or open an existing project from within an open OmegaT project. To enable you to find your place again, enter a marker (such as '###') in the segment, then hit <i0>Enter</i0> (to confirm the the change to the segment) before moving to a different part of the project. This enables the translation memories produced by OmegaT to be read by other CAT tools that support the standard. OmegaT can also import and read memories produced by these applications, provided they are first saved in TMX format (Level 1). OpenOffice.org 1.0/StarOffice 6.0 とそれ以上 OmegaT detects the file format automatically based upon the file's extension, so make sure that your files have the extensions <i0>.txt</i0>, <i1>.html</i1> and <i2>.sxw</i2> for plain text, html and OpenOffice.org/StarOffice respectively. It assists you by storing pieces of text in a database (the "translation memory") so that when you next encounter the same piece of text (a "segment"), or part of it, you can see immediately how you translated it in the past. OmegaTはLinuxで開発されてます。開発/ドキュメンテーションチームはWindowsを使ってません。このマニュアルはすべてのプラットホームを意識して編集されていますが、いくつかの技術は馴染み無いものかも知れません。なのでもしLinuxの「/」を見かけたら「\」だと思ってください。「ディレクトリ」という言葉も「フォルダ」と思って読んでください Call up the Search function with <i0>Ctrl+F</i0> and enter the word or phrase you wish to search for in the "Search for" box. <i0>Ctrl+F</i0> で検索機能を呼び出します。検索したい語句を"Search for" ボックスに入力してください。 Alternatively, mark a word or phrase in the editing field (target text of the active segment) and hit <i0>Ctrl+F</i0>. The word or phrase is entered in the "Search for" box automatically in this case. もしくは、アクティブセグメントの語句を選択（ハイライト）し<i0>Ctrl+F</i0>を押してもOKです。選択された語句が"Search for" ボックスに現れます。 All types of search are non-case-sensitive, i.e. a search for "abc" finds instances of abc, ABC, Abc, etc. 検索は大文字小文字を区別しません。 Calling up the Search function will always create a new instance of the Search window. You may end up with a number of Search windows if you forget to close them. 検索機能を呼び出すと常に新しいサーチウィンドウを開きます。毎回ちゃんと閉じないと一杯起動してしまいます。 Select "Keyword search" and enter any number of individual words, in any order, and OmegaT displays a list of all segments in which all the words occur. Keyword searches are similar to a search "with all of the words" in an Internet search engine such as Google (AND logic). キーワード検索は、入力されたいくつかのキーワードをすべて含むセグメントを検索します。普通のgoogle検索と同じようなロジックです。 An exact search looks for a phrase, i.e. if several words are entered, they are found only if they occur in exactly the same sequence. Exact searches are similar to an "exact phrase" search in an Internet search engine such as Google. 完全一致検索はフレーズを検索します。つまり、複数の語句が入力された際に、それと全く同じ並びのフレーズを含むセグメントを検索します。googleのフレーズ検索と同じようなロジックです。 OmegaT presegments the text when the project is opened. You cannot move segment boundaries from within OmegaT. OmegaTはプロジェクトを開いた際にテキストをセグメント化します。OmegaT内ではセグメントの切り方を動かせません。 If you are confronted with bad segmenting, you need to close the project, modify the file and re-open the project. 不適切な位置に切れ目があると感じた場合には、プロジェクトを開く前に他のアプリケーションで修正してください。 Segmenting in OmegaT depends on the type of file you have in your project. OmegaTでのセグメント方法は翻訳されるファイルタイプによって違います。 Text files テキストファイル OmegaT segments text files at the line breaks. OmegaTはテキストファイルをその改行によってセグメント化します。 Line breaks are sometimes found at the end of sentences, sometimes at the end of paragraphs. 改行は文の最後や、段落の最後で使われます。 OmegaT will create paragraph-level segments, sentence-level segments or segments that include sentence parts depending on how your text file is formated. テキストのフォーマットによってOmegaTは段落ごと、または文ごとにセグメント化を行います。 You can therefore force segmenting at any level you want by inserting line breaks in your file before starting to work on the project. つまり、作業の前にソースの改行を調整すればセグメント化の結果を調整できます。 If you suspect that your text might contain manual line breaks in inconvenient places, it is therefore worth editing it before opening the project. If you are confronted with bad segmenting (e.g. a line break in the middle of a sentence) whilst you are working in OmegaT, you can remove the break from the source text (for example in a text editor or word processor). You will not see the change in OmegaT until you reload the project, however. 不適切な位置に切れ目があると感じた場合には、プロジェクトを開く前に他のアプリケーションで修正してください。修正は、再度プロジェクトを開くときまで反映されませんので注意してください。 Formatted files フォーマット済みファイル By "formatted" files we mean <i0>(x)html</i0> files as well as <i1>OpenOffice.org/StarOffice format</i1> files. ここで「フォーマット済み」とは<i0>(x)html</i0> ファイルや<i1>OpenOffice.org/StarOffice</i1>フォーマットファイルを指します。 Formatted files generally include 2 types of tags: <i0>block</i0> level tags and <i1>inline</i1> tags. フォーマット済みファイルは2タイプのタグを持っています：<i0>ブロック</i0>レベルタグと<i1>インライン</i1>タグです。 Inline tags generally define the style of the text while block level tags generally describe its logical structure. インラインタグとはテキストのスタイル（書式など）を定義するもので、もう一方のブロックタグとは文章の論理構造を反映しています。 OmegaT segments formatted files at the block level tags. OmegaTのセグメント化方法は、ブロックタグに沿っています。 To modify a formatted file segmenting, you can use OpenOffice.org conversion macros. These macros convert sentences (a stylistic unit) to paragraphs (a logical unit) so that when the file is opened in OmegaT, its segments include sentences rather than whole paragraphs. The macros can be downloaded from the OmegaT web site. セグメント化の方式を変更したい場合には、OpenOffice.orgの変換用マクロを使用できます。このマクロは文（スタイル要素）を段落（論理要素）に変換するため、OmegaTで作業する際に文単位でセグメント化されるようになります。マクロはOmegaTサイトでダウンロードできます。 Other files その他ファイル Besides for text files and tagged files, OmegaT 1.4.4 supports Java <i0>properties</i0> files. テキストファイルとタグ入りファイルに加えて、OmegaT 1.4.4はJava<i0>properties</i0>ファイルをサポートします。 Java properties files use one line for each data to be translated. Their segmenting is thus very similar to text files except that there is no need to modify the file's formatting. Javaプロパティファイルは行ごとにセグメント化されます。その意味テキストファイルに似ていますが、こちらではファイルのフォーマットを変更する必要がありません。 Conclusion 結論 It is sometimes said that OmegaT does paragraph segmenting. It is not true. OmegaTは段落によってセグメント化する、とよく言われますがあまり正確ではありません。 OmegaT considers that segments must not be delimited by the usual ponctuation marks (. ! ; etc) but by marks that show the logical structure of the file. OmegaTはセグメントを句読点("."、"!"、";"など)で区切るのではなく、論理構造で切るべきだと考えています。 Talking in terms of "paragraph segmenting" in a spreadsheet/table context has little meaning. Similarly, "paragraphs" in a visual presentation do not carry the same meaning as in a literary text. Technical manuals usually group textual data in short paragraphs (or long sentences) and the difference between "paragraph" or "sentence" segmenting does not mean much anymore then. 「段落ごとのセグメント化」は、スプレッドシートやテーブルの内容を論じるときに意味を成します。似たように、プレゼンテーションファイルでの「段落」は通常の文章とは違う意味を持っています。技術的なマニュアルは多くのテキストデータを短い/長い段落にまとめてしまいますが、そのとき「段落」と「文」の違いはなくなってきます。 OmegaT allows for segmenting modifications <b0>before</b0> you start working on a project. If you are not satisfied with your segments you can always fine-tune them outside of OmegaT. セグメントの切れ目の変更は、プロジェクトを開く前に<b0>のみ</b0>行えます。セグメントの区切りを変更したいときは、OmegaT以外のアプリケーションで調整してください。 Make sure that MS Word files have not been saved with the "Fast Save" option, or OpenOffice.org will probably be unable to read them. MS Wordのファイルは「Fast Save」で保存されていないことを確認してください。でないとOpenOffice.orgはファイルを読み込めません。 Don't attempt to load OpenOffice.org files saved with the "Revision" function (i.e. "Record changes") active into OmegaT. Disable the function and accept all the changes first. This problem is most likely to occur when you receive MS Word files which have been saved with the "Revision" function enabled, and you are not aware of the fact. OpenOffice.org supports this function (which is in fact very useful), but it should not be used in conjunction with OmegaT. (「変更を記録」など)「Revision」機能付で保存されたOpenOffice.orgファイルを OmegaTで開かないでください。このケースは元のMS Wordファイルが「Revision」機能付で保存されているときによく起こります。OpenOffice.orgはこの機能をサポートしています(実際、有用な機能です)が、OmegaTと一緒には使わないでください。 OmegaT requires the Java Runtime Environment. OmegaTの実行にはJava実行環境が必要です。 OmegaT 1.4 (including the 1.4.4 series) should work with any version of the J2RE from 1.2 upwards. However, we recommend that you obtain the latest version of the J2RE, since older versions of Java may not support certain features. OmegaT 1.4.（1.4.4シリーズを含む）はJ2RE1.2以上で動作するはずですが、なるべく新しいバージョンをお勧めします。古いバージョンではいくつかの機能が整っていない可能性があります。 Essentially, if your system will run the Java Runtime Environment (also known as the J2RE), it will run OmegaT. 基本的にJava実行環境(J2REとも呼ばれています)が動いているならOmegaTを使用できます。 The Java Runtime Environment comes pre-installed on Macintosh OSX. Macintosh OS XではJava実行環境がプレインストールされています。 It is available for install on the following platforms: Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP, UNIX, Linux, Solaris (both x86 and Sun SPARC). Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP, UNIX, Linux, Solaris (x86とSun SPARC), Mac OS 9だとダウンロードで入手できます。 It does <b0>not</b0> run on Macintosh OS9 either since the only Java Runtime Environment available for Mac OS9 (called MRJ) does not offer the necessary functionality. Mac OS9上ではMRJ（Mac用Java実行環境）の機能が不足しているためOmegaTが動かないようです。 Hit <i0>Enter</i0> or <i1>Ctrl+N</i1> to confirm your translation and proceed to the next segment. If you need to keep <i2>Enter</i2> for other use, for example, to engage it in a tool for input of complex characters (Japanese character input confirmation for exemple) , you can alternatively use <i3>Tab</i3>. Using <i4>Tab</i4> is an option that should be activated by clicking on the <i5>Preferences</i5> > <i6>Use TAB to advance</i6> menu item. <i0>Enter</i0> または <i1>Ctrl+N</i1> で訳を完了して次のセグメントに移ります。（漢字変換など）<i2>Enter</i2> を別の用途に使いたい場合にはその代わりに<i3>Tab</i3>キーが使えます。<i4>Tab</i4>を使うには<i5>Preferences</i5> > <i6>TABで次に移動</i6> にチェックしてください。 The main OmegaT window displays the text currently being translated. The target or source texts of each segment are displayed, depending upon whether they have been translated or not. メインOmegaTウィンドウは翻訳中のテキストを表示します。セグメントがアクティブかによって訳文または原文が表示されます。 The exception is the active segment, of which both source and target text is displayed: the source text in bold, the target text bracketed by <segment number> and <end segment> tags. アクティブセグメントでは原文と訳文が両方表示されます。原文は太字で、訳文は＜segment番号＞と＜end segment＞タグにはさまれています。 The Match and Glossary Viewer window is divided into two panes: マッチ＆グロッサリ表示ウィンドウは2つのペインに分かれています。 The Match pane displays fuzzy matches (previously translated segments with a certain degree of similarity to the active segment). マッチペインではファジーマッチ (以前の訳文から一定以上の類似テキスト)を表示します。 The Glossary pane displays information from the glossary file, if there is one. グロッサリペインは一致があったときのみグロッサリファイルからの情報を表示します。 All functions are available through the menu bar at the top of the main OmegaT window. Most functions are also available through keyboard shortcuts when the main OmegaT window is on the foreground. すべての機能はメインOmegaTウィンドウのメニューからアクセスできます。OmegaTウィンドウが最前面にあるとき、多くの機能はキーボードショートカットでも使えます。 OpenOffice.org 2.0/StarOffice 8.0 (OASIS document file format, basically the OOo 1.0 format with a different name.) OpenOffice.org 2.0/StarOffice 8.0 (OASISドキュメントファイルフォーマットは基本的にOOo 1.0のフォーマットの別名です) OmegaT detects the file format automatically based upon the file's extension, so make sure that your files have the extensions <i0>.txt</i0>, <i1>.html</i1> and <i2>.sxw</i2> for plain text, html and OpenOffice.org/StarOffice respectively. By editing that file, you can force OmegaT to recognize files with different extensions as long as their formats are compatible with formats supported by OmegaT. Modifications of the preference file will generally not able OmegaT to support other file formats !
